Recap:
Hawks Win Opening Day Game 2010!
Wow, what a great game. The tale of two different halves. We held our own in the first half, but were pushed around the field. The second half the boys came to play and get more physical.
Hats off to our MVP - Noah Bishop who stopped every ball that came his way in the second half of the game. Did you know that this was Noah's first ever game as a regular season goalie - way to go Noah.
Our defense stepped up and was all over Vestavia, with Carson taking their best player out of the game. Patrick and Nick D owned the defensive crease. Great support was provided by Caleb.
We had excellent middie play by some of our new players; Allen, Blair, John and Griffin. Tyler played a little of everything for us tonight and did great.Ryan and Nick G our rising stars from U11 had a good game. Michael supported us in many positions and Luke G gave us his all every minute on the field.
Bobby dominated the middie line with 1 assist and it was a good looking one at that. Luke S had 1 goal and 1 assist and looked really good. Tristen had 3 goals and 1 assist and Sammy had 4 goals and 1 assist. Great job boys!
